Project journey · RentBuyGo

From a parking-space idea to a connected property platform

RentBuyGo began with a focused opportunity: helping people advertise and find parking spaces in Hong Kong. As the client’s ambitions grew, the platform evolved towards commercial properties, self-service operations and integration with other systems.

The platform in motion

One foundation. More room to grow.

01

Parking spaces

Advertise available spaces and help people find suitable locations.

02

Commercial properties

Extend the same foundation to broader property listings.

03

Self-service

Give users and property owners more control over the process.

04

Integrations

Exchange information with property, payment and business systems.

01 · The starting point

Starting with a focused opportunity

The client wanted to make it easier for people to advertise and find parking spaces in Hong Kong. Discovery focused on the practical information that makes a space useful: location and accessibility, availability, rental period, price, vehicle suitability, building or car park restrictions, and the enquiry and occupation process.

02 · Discovery

Looking beyond the first brief

Through discussions with the client, the vision developed beyond parking spaces. The same underlying platform could support commercial properties and future property services without losing the clarity of the original experience.

“How can we create a property platform that works for today’s needs while remaining flexible enough for tomorrow’s business?”

03 · Product foundation

Designing a foundation that could grow

Keep the public experience simple while giving the client flexibility to expand categories, property details, search and enquiry workflows.

04 · The delivery challenge

Keeping the product flexible without making it complicated

The project began with parking spaces but had to remain capable of supporting commercial properties and future services without over-engineering the first release.

05 · From discovery to production

Turning the evolving idea into a working platform

  1. 01Discovery

Understand the original parking-space concept, target users and future business direction.

  2. 02Product definition

Translate the evolving idea into a flexible model for property listings, search and enquiries.

  3. 03Experience design

Shape clear listing presentation, search, filtering and enquiry journeys.

  4. 04Development

Build the responsive front end, property data handling, listing management and workflows.

  5. 05Testing and refinement

Review key journeys, improve presentation, validate responsive behaviour and refine.

  6. 06Production deployment

Configure and deploy the live application for real-world use.

06 · What was achieved

An idea that became a platform

RentBuyGo evolved from parking-space advertising into a broader property platform while preserving a clear path from discovery to enquiry.

07 · What comes next

Building towards a more connected property ecosystem

“From parking spaces to commercial properties—and towards a more connected property ecosystem.”

Our job was to help the client move from an initial idea to a working platform, while creating room for what comes next.
